At the 2008 SEMA Show we first saw the Abaco Performance line of Mass Air Meters and were immediately impressed with the innovative design, potential for improvement in derivability, and overall flow rates. In addition, the Abaco meter's ability to internally scale and rescale the signal output at the flip of a switch gives these metes unrivaled versatility. We had been looking for a high quality meter for our turbo kits for some time and had experimented with various OEM meters without finding anything that really impressed us. Upon returning from SEMA we placed an order for a DBX 97mm Meter with Bell to be used with our 4" intake option on our GT35R turbo kit for the Subaru Sti. Once the meter was fitted and properly scaled the difference in drivability between the Abaco MAF and the Ford meter we were previously using was astonishing. All the low throttle (low flow rate) stumbles that were apparent with the Ford meter were gone and we still had significant voltage headroom for more boost or additional power adders. We were thrilled with the results and so was the owner of the car. After our initial success with the DBX 97mm Meter we wanted to bring the same unparalleled drivability to our standard 3" intake kits as well so we placed an order for the DBX 85mm Meter to be fitted onto a '08 Sti. Again the difference in drivability between the Abaco meter and the stock Subaru meter was immediately apparent. The car's power delivery was as smooth as glass. It was truly a testament to the engineering behind this Mass Air Meter when we saw how stable the MAF voltage was all the way from idle to wide open throttle. Due to the impressive results we've seen with these meters we will continue to use the Abaco line of Mass Air Meters with all of our turbo kits.

I want to say a big thanks to Anderson Ford Motorsport and Abaco Performance for and outstanding product and exceptional customer support and service. With my factory slot style MAF meter and the aid of a Diablo Sport MAFia, my turboed 2006 Mustang GT was pegging the MAF signal at just 4300 rpm. Not only was the meter pegged, but the signal was erratic due to bends in intake plumbing both before and after the meter. Danny Biggs and Rick Anderson recommended trying the new DBX Abaco MAF meter. They both told me with confidence that this would correct my problem. The install took 30 minutes with Rick taking pictures along the way, I then left for the day, as close of business was soon approaching. Danny got to work on the tuning duties the next afternoon, and in less than two hours of dyno time he had everything worked out. The end result was unbelievable drivability, a pretty A/F curve, and awesome power. In the end, I still had a great deal of room to grow with this meter. Say good-bye to MAFia, say good-bye to SCT Big Air. This is the meter for the bolt on 5.0 to the 1000 rwhp power adder racecar. If you know you are going to grow with your performance combination or you know that you have a difficult combination to tune, THIS IS YOUR METER!!

The DBX meters have only been on the market a few days now and I've already had the privilege of tuning with them on 3 different cars. I can not say enough about how all 3 meters had a clean signal as compared to some of the other meters on the market that I've used in the past. The voltage was very steady at Idle, even on the blower cars using the meter as a blow thru. The throttle response was crisp and responsive, no matter if we were using 30lb injectors or the bigger 83lb injectors.

With the Free software that I down load from the Abaco Performance website I was able to tailor the fuel curves to my liking making over 650 RWHP on one of my customers street cars. Not only did this car make great power, it drove and idled very close to stock considering all of the modifications that were done.
